I am Wandi, 22 years old. Now I am study in University of Indonesia, majoring in Metallugy and Material Engineering. I am scholars of Sampoerna Foundation. Sampoerna Foundation is one of the best foundation that adopts potential students who has good leadership skill, interpersonal skill and of course has best academic achievements. Sampoerna Foundation had granted many students to study either in best university in Indonesia or study abroad such USA and NZ. Becoming one of scholars in Sampoerna Foundation is very good achievement, because they select their scholars tightly.

Now I am registering for One Young World (OYW) Program. One Young World invites 1,500 young pioneers from every country in the world and a range of backgrounds to come together to attend the Inaugural Summit in London in February 2010 and help create a global resource of leadership and ideas. Delegates to the Inaugural Summit will discuss the biggest challenges the world faces and propose new ways forward.

My personal web blog is consists of materials about both my study in Metallurgy and Material Science and my own essays about motivation that valuable to build our spirit in facing our daily problem. Many questions come to my web blog, they want to ask my recommendation about their problem in the field of metallurgy. Some times people from some companies contact me by phone or email to discuss about their problems about casting process and other topic related to metallurgy too. But beside I give them my recommendation or opinion, I told them sorry because now I still study in undergraduate program.

When I was in junior high school, I had been involved in some local organization. When I was in senior high school, I involved my self in the bigger organization then I occupied important position. I found Pelita Hati when I was in the senior high school. Pelita Hati is and organization I found that run in community development, we teach many street children every Saturday and Sunday. Now with my friends I also found Cendikia Muda Mandiri in the other area. It support many poor children to continue their study until senior high school. Hopefully, they can create better future.

I have involved my self to many organization and activities, so I think that I am very potential in leadership and social personality. Now I want to develop my network over the world so that I can contribute more thing to others.

I want to be useful person to other in my life, I have contributed my self so that other can reach their better future. Now, I want every one in the world support me to develop education for every children. Nelson Mandela told, “Education is the most useful weapon that you can use to change the world.” I am very interested to the sentence, it is simple but meaningful.
