Often a large number of factors, frequently interrelated must be understood to determine the cause of the original failure so the analyst must consider a broad spectrum of possibilities or reasons for the occurrence. Like the great detective, the analyst must carefully examine and evaluate all evidence available then prepare a hypothesis or possible chain of events that could have caused the “crime”.

“Kegagalan adalah sukses yang tertunda” Begitu kata pepatah. Nah, bagi teman-teman yang belum sukses di SIMAK-UI kemarin janganlah kalian berkecil hati lalu berprasangka buruk kepada sang Maha Bijaksana, Allah SWT karena mungkin saja Dia punya skenario lain yang lebih indah untuk kalian. Tahun 2009 ini,  UMB-PTN 2009 kembali diselenggarakan untuk melakukan seleksi calon mahasiswa di tujuh Perguruan Tinggi Negeri.
